Fluffy Blinking

This is a pic of a blinking pigeon, not of a sleeping one. (They don't sleep in this position anyways)

You put the zoom on your camera to amazing use. If portraits can be taken of animals, this one definetly fits the category. What's even better is the lack of focus on the pigeon's body, rendering only his head, and more importantly his eyes sharp. You must've been pretty close to get that butter soft bokeh in the background.

However, some may argue that cutting off the top of the pigeon's head may not be a good idea. Although capturing a pigeon's eyelids?? Wow.

Wow, I thought this was taken using a telephoto but after seeing the EXIF I'm amazed at how you were able to sneak up on this pigeon :) Great detail in the shot.
